Simply Wonderful

Sometimes during a session, the kids find my camera not very intimidating and well, they pretty much could care less that I'm there. I tend to love when this happens, especially when a family is comfortable around me and fall into just being themselves.



Their oldest is my daughters age and full of spunk. I couldn't get enough of her (or her bow).



Not to be outdone, these two were both adorable and incredibly sweet.



I'll leave you with these of the littlest. I loved how tightly both Mom and Dad held onto her when we took these shots. I think I know exactly how they feel...

Suddenly Fall

It was just last weekend when I met these guys at one of my favorite spots. I hadn't been there in about a month and was excited to see that Fall had hit the area. Well, you know, the kind of Fall we get here in Northern California. It was a gorgeous start to the day and I loved being able to capture these guys. And I mean guys, lucky Mom is outnumbered with three boys. The oldest brother was amazing, not only did he work the poses, but he was incredibly sweet with his younger brothers. This is my favorite of the two oldest.



And younger brother had just started walking, so he wasn't really into sitting still for too long. We still got some fun shots and I adore this one.



I'll leave you with a shot that just makes me smile. I was taking a couple of shots of just Mom and Dad and the boys were behind me. I saw some real smiles coming from the parents and I said, "They're probably being really cute behind me, huh?" I turned around and this is what they were doing. Of course, a minute later they stopped and took off in another direction.



Ah, here's to Fall weather...

(One of) My Favorite Family

You may remember these guys from just a few months ago. Mom was expecting her newest addition to show up a few weeks before her due date, but the little guy wasn't in any mood to be hurried. And so he became the sweet finale to my newborn flurry that happened in September.









Congratulations! He was definitely worth the wait.

I think these two were giving Mom a hard time all day just so they could surprise her with their sweet smiles and little poses. I thought she summed up their day perfectly when she told me, "I made pancakes for dinner." It must've worked, because these girls looked like the best of friends and had miles of smiles.



Big sister may be my new favorite. She loved the attention of the camera.
I love the look on her face in this one and little sister in the background with all her loveys.



Seriously, I told you she was working the camera.

Sweet Curiosity

I love meeting new families. These guys were so great and ready for just about anything. This one is the littlest of the group, recently celebrating her first birthday. Her hair, or rather, her itty-bitty hair, reminded me so much of my daughter. (I couldn't do pigtails until she was nearly three). I promise you, when this little one is five, the Mom will start to see bald little one year olds and smile, remembering this age.



And here is their oldest - can't you just see his wheels turning? He loved my camera and I think Santa may need to bring him one for Christmas.
